Meaning Of Life

These days, we are bombarded with a lot of information about the origin of life. How life originated millions and millions of years ago, how a comet hit the earth, and so on.

But the question that deserves a satisfying and reliable answer is this. What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? Is there somebody watching us?

These questions have resulted in various theories and speculations. But all these theories and speculations are not satisfying. Theories remain theories.

So, what is the meaning of life?

For Your Prayerful Consideration

Prayer is a great way to draw close to God. It enlightens our mind and body when we pour out our heart’s content to God. Jesus Christ, while he was on earth, well knew the value of prayer.

Jesus prayed to God, his heavenly father, before performing miracles. He spent a lot of time in prayer, at the time of choosing his disciples, when performing miracles. He spent hours and hours in prayer on the night before his death.

Resurrection

The word resurrection in the bible provides real hope for the dead ones. It assures that God, from his vast memory, can bring our loved ones who have died to live everlasting life again. Yes, they’ll come with physical bodies. Just like the people resurrected by Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ brought the dead man Lazar (John 4), one another girl (Matthew 9:18-23) to life to prove that he has the power to resurrect a dead one to live.

The Great Teacher

Jesus’ earthly ministry consisted of teaching people about God and his purpose. He taught many life principles that enlightened ordinary people about God’s knowledge.

One day, a large crowd gathered around him to listen to his teachings. Jesus chose a boat as his platform to address them all. This can be read from the Bible Matthew 13:1-58 verses.

What was the specialty of Jesus’s teaching? He made great use of illustrations. These carefully chosen illustrations helped ordinary people digest the in-depth truths Jesus preached to them.

Finding Happiness

Everybody wants to live a happy and meaningful life. People are ready to do anything to find happiness. But there is something simple we can do to find happiness in life.

“There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.’” Acts 20:35 (Bible)

Yes, when we give something to others, that makes them happy. When we hear the word appreciation, that makes us happier.
