For Your Prayerful Consideration

Prayer is a great way to draw close to God. It enlightens our mind and body when we pour out our heart’s content to God. Jesus Christ, while he was on earth, well knew the value of prayer.

Jesus prayed to God, his heavenly father, before performing miracles. He spent a lot of time in prayer, at the time of choosing his disciples, when performing miracles. He spent hours and hours in prayer on the night before his death.

Wrinkles Of Life!

It’s an age-old problem, the problem with aging. Nobody can ignore or defend aging. The average life span has increased with the support of modern medical science, but we continue to age.

What was your first thought when wrinkles started to appear on your face? With the wrinkles come anxieties and other disorders.

Coping with old age

Old age is a time to look back to life and think about what life is all about! Consider it a time to relax, and enjoy yourself by doing small activities your health allows you to do. Maybe starting a hobby is one of the best things you can do to occupy yourself. Creativity brings happiness as we indulge in the hobby.

Never lose self-respect and learn how to age gracefully, planning things ahead without being a burden over others. Try to help others, and give generously. Because Bible puts it this way

Luke 6:38

Practice giving,+ and people will give to you.+ They will pour into your laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing. For with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you in return.” [New world translation]

Resurrection

The word resurrection in the bible provides real hope for the dead ones. It assures that God, from his vast memory, can bring our loved ones who have died to live everlasting life again. Yes, they’ll come with physical bodies. Just like the people resurrected by Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ brought the dead man Lazar (John 4), one another girl (Matthew 9:18-23) to life to prove that he has the power to resurrect a dead one to live.
